Outreach

I’ve always loved sharing astronomy with the public, a commitment that’s deeply rooted in my background — I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communication Studies. This foundation has shaped how I approach outreach: with clarity, creativity, and a strong sense of audience.
Early on, I spent a year working at a public relations and outreach agency, followed by a role at a digital observatory where I regularly hosted live star shows for audiences of up to 60 people, including many curious kids. More recently, I’ve helped bring science into everyday spaces by organizing Astronomy on Tap events at a local pub in Bonn, creating a relaxed setting for people to engage with space science over a drink. I’m also involved in the YouTube content strategy for the PHANGS collaboration (see video below), helping communicate our team’s research in accessible and creative ways. Outreach is not just something I do—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and believe in.
